  Terrible customer service.
  A colleague and myself went to bank fundraising money and was greeted by a very rude teller that refused to assist us with counting the coins. We had already counted the money and filled in the deposit slip, but he impolitely told us that we had to go to a corner of the bank and sort the coins into separate bags for him. There was only approx. $60 worth of coins that were mainly $2s & $1s and $60 in notes. A task that wouldn't have taken long to do himself. The branch really needs to be be equipped with current facilities such as a coin counting machine.
  It wouldn't have been such a bad experience if he at least asked nicely or apologised for the inconviemnce. I felt that he did not value us as customers because we were not regular Westpac customers and simply one time customers, so the same level of customer service was not necessary. Very unfortunate because I am a Westpac customer and use Westpac for my personal banking and am now very disappointed.
